Sandy's Sanctuary and Animal Rescue

Sandy's Sanctuary started as a safe place for senior animals to live out their golden years, receiving love and care from founder Sandy Rode. Living in Guthrie, Oklahoma, Sandy saw first hand the consequences of the pet overpopulation problem. There simply aren't enough kennels in municipal shelters for all the cats and dogs coming in, and too many are losing their lives as a result of humans not being responsible with their pets.In 2022, Sandy began fostering orphaned kittens alongside her senior dogs. Not long after, she accepted a couple adult cats who just needed a bit of extra time to find a home. By 2023, it was clear there was definitely a need for another rescue in Guthrie to help provide a halfway home for animals seeking a second chance at life. With a focus on the importance of Spay/Neuter and core vaccinations, Sandy's Sanctuary and Animal Rescue now seeks to provide a little extra time and space to animals searching for their Forever Families.

Adoptable Dogs

Abby

14 year old Spayed Female
Terrier Mix

Abby is partially blind, hard of hearing, nearly toothless, and is just as crotchity as you'd expect an ancient being like her to be!Originally assumed to be a fospice case, she seems to actually have a lot of life (and sass) left in her! Abby would love an older home where she can be doted on, and give gentle kisses to those she finds worthy of such a gift. She is dog and cat friendly, and good with pee pads or being let out (though, she can't hold it as long as the young dogs can!). Kids aren't the best idea because she does not appreciate grabby hands or surpises.

Pia

10+ year old Spayed Female
Miniature Dachshund

Pia and her friends came to the rescue from a city animal shelter. All 4 suffered severe neglect, likely as their caretaker aged 😢 We do not think any of them had seen outside in a long time, nor had they seen a vet.Pia is partially blind, and mostly deaf. She underwent some much needed dental work, and had some minor mammary tumors removed as well. Despite all that, all Pia wants is to be held. She is 100% lapdog, ready to retire in the arms of a gentle, quiet family who are mostly homebodies. She is fantastic with other dogs, and doesn't mind cats or kittens. She actually enjoyed her outdoor photoshoot, but prefers to use pee-pads while its cool out.

Rudy

8-10 year old Neutered Male
Miniature Dachshund

Rudy and his friends came to the rescue from a city animal shelter. All 4 suffered severe neglect, likely as their caretaker aged 😢 We do not think any of them had seen outside in a long time, nor had they seen a vet.Rudy is the most timid of the 4 little dogs, and needed a lot of dental work. He will take some patience to earn his trust, but once you do, he'd love to be in your lap, or snuggled up with you on the couch. Rudy is great with other dogs, and enjoys feline company, big or small! We think children might be a lot for this little man, but visits might be ok- just not full time!

Rini

8-10 year old Spayed Female
Miniature Dachshund

Adoption Pending!

Renae and her friends came to the rescue from a city animal shelter. All 4 suffered severe neglect, likely as their caretaker aged 😢 We do not think any of them had seen outside in a long time, nor had they seen a vet.Teeny Rini is still very playful for her age. She's a silly little girl who will try and play tag with you, or goof around with the kittens in the rescue. She is an absolute snugglebug with the most charming crooked ears. We think she'd be fine even with gentle children in her home, so long as they understood that she is fragile due to her age and size.

Robin

6-8 year old Spayed Female
Miniature Dachshund

Robin and her friends came to the rescue from a city animal shelter. All 4 suffered severe neglect, likely as their caretaker aged 😢 We do not think any of them had seen outside in a long time, nor had they seen a vet.Robin seems to be the youngest of the 4 little doxxies. She is currently growing her fur back after having pretty severe flea allergy, and gaining some much needed weight. Robin enjoys playing with people, kittens, and Rini. She's also a big snuggler, loves belly rubs, and prefers to be carried everywhere. We think she'd be just fine in a home with children, so long as they understood that she is fragile due to her size and age.

Zerg

8 year old Neutered Male
Shepherd/Heeler Mix

Puppy days long behind him, Zerg has had enough of the rowdy dogs in rescue, and would enjoy some peace, quiet, and all the butt scratches you care to give him. We can easily picture him along side a farm family, or an older gentleman like himself.Zerg is dog, kid, and cat friendly, but gets fussy about any animals close by when it's dinner time- feeding seperate is great for him. He won't bite, but he will grump like the old man he is the whole time, then go curl up for a nap in the nearest laundry basket.

Myah

7 year old Spayed Female
Pitbull Terrier

Myah is a fairly reserved middle aged girl who'd love a couch to nap on most of the day. She's happy to join you outside, so long as you're up for lazing around immediately afterwards. Myah is good with kids, cats and a few other dogs, but there should be no livestock at her forever home. She's familliar with a doggy door, and is fully housetrained, but doesn't like to share a bed with other dogs. She'd prefer her own space for bed time.. unless she's the only dog crawling in bed with YOU!

Percy

4 year old Spayed Female
Super Mutt

Your breed guess is as good as ours on this one. Medium size, 35lbs, nub tail, hound ears, dumptruck booty... but at least you know this goofball was having a good time during her photoshoot? 😂 She's a lovable weirdo.Percy tends to take a few tries to warm up to strangers, but once she trusts you, it's all silly butt wiggles and playbows. Kid, Cat and Dog friendly, and really loves to give kisses. Likes to sleep in beds too small for her big booty.

Christmas Carol

4 year old Spayed Female
Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd

Christmas Carol is a very big girl who is very used to farm and family life. She loves to be the center of attention, accompanying her humans outside and indoors. Christmas is good with kids, cats and other dogs, but would prefer there not be more than a few other canines in her future forever home.Kittens have a very special place in this girly's heart. She loves tiny baby animals, but kittens are her favorite. We've found her napping with a few many times over the past year.

Nancy

2 year old Spayed Female
Staffordshire Terrier

Nancy has the perfect Staffy smile, and is the sweetest girl around. This beautiful, chocolate colored girl is everyone's friend- kids, cats, dogs, you name it! She is house trained, knows 'sit', and LOVES a good cuddle on the couch. Talk about the whole package, in one perfect smiley sweetheart!

Molly

1 year old Spayed Female
Pit Mix (Small-Medium)

Good golly, Miss Molly! Talk about a mini-hippo! Molly was found abandoned while pregnant, at only 11 months old 💔 A previous adopter reached out to us for help, and how could we say no to this angel?Molly likes children and other dogs, but cannot be in a home with cats. She is a big, kissy snuggly potato-shaped chonk, built low to the ground for speed and accuracy 🤣 Just kiidding. At 30lbs, she is not even tall enough to get her head in the fridge 😂 Photos do not do this sweet girl justice, but unfortunately she is very scared of the camera.

Nola

1 year old Spayed Female
Hound/Anatolian/Dane mix

While she might look a bit like a dog trying to be a human, maybe trying to be a horse... This tall, lanky creature is gentle as they come, even if she's a little weirdly put together! She's all legs, and all love. Nola gets along with cats and dogs, but would do best in a home without small rowdy kids. She is a big snuggler once she trusts you, and could use some groceries in her new home! She is house trained, and knows 'sit', but responds best to sweet praise and cuddles, rather than to treats.

Nova

1 year old Spayed Female
Pitbull Mix

This beautiful girl came from the stars, and she's truly out of this world! ✨ Nova is a little shy at first, and scared to be pet until she knows she can trust you not to hurt her. Once she's comfortable, she's sweet as can be, and super gentle.Nova LOVES other dogs, and would prefer to go to a home that already has a confident, outgoing dog. She is ok with cats, but older children are a little more her thing. Rowdy young kids who yell are still scary for her.

Vincent

1 year old Neutered Male
Rat Terrier Mix

Vincent and his brother Victor came to the rescue from a rural shelter. He is the bolder and braver of the two brothers, and also the bigger cuddler. He loves to cuddle and play with kids and other dogs, and so far he has shown no interest in any of the cats or kittens in the rescue.Vincent only weighs around 17lbs, and is already house and leash trained. He's working on 'sit' and is very gentle when taking treats. The easiest way to tell the brothers apart is their tails!

Victor

1 year old Neutered Male
Rat Terrier Mix

Victor and his brother Vincent came to the rescue from a rural shelter. He is the shy one of the pair, but warms up with time and patience. While his brother is the super snuggler, Victor prefers the polite approach- he'll sit on your feet, sleep at the end of your bed, and calmly walk alongside you on a leash.Just like his brother, he is house trained, and very gentle about taking treats. He plays with with polite children, cats, and other dogs.

Veronica

1 year old Spayed Female
Rat Terrier Mix

Veronica is shy at first, but once she trusts you, prepare to have your space invaded 😂 This sweet, snuggly little girl is a bit bigger than a usual purse dog, at 18lbs, but she would love to be in your lap constantly if you'll let her! Big bed-time snuggler, couch cuddler, and smooch stealer. She loves to play with kids, cats and other dogs, and seems to be house trained!
Photos are lacking for now because she's afraid of the camera 😅

Paulie

10 month old Spayed Female
Lab mix

This beautiful black lab mix was found by a rescue transporter and friend of the rescue, running along i40 💔 Covered in scabs, in her first heat, and struggling. Since coming to rescue, she has healed and grown into such an amazing companion. Paulie knows sit, shake and down, walks great on a leash, is house trained, and crate trained! She loves kids, cats and other dogs, and will make the perfect addition to any family.

Toffee

7 month old Spayed Female
Pit Mix (small)

Toffee has the cutest ears around, and so much love to give! This itty bitty pittie girl was found emaciated and struggling to survive, but nothings going to stop her from enjoying puppy life now that she's healthy and happy in rescue.
Toffee is currently only 20lbs, and we don't know if she'll get much taller. Her ears are probably the biggest thing about her, aside from maybe her heart. This petite lil girl loves kids, cats, dogs- anyone who'll give her some pets and kisses.

Adoptable Cats

Socks

3 month old Neutered Male
Tuxedo Short Hair

Friendly little guy that likes to play with kitties much bigger than him! Total goofball, but absolutely up for snuggles if you're offering 😂 He is good with kids, cats and even dogs!

Timmy

4 month old Neutered Male
Black Short Hair

Adoption Pending!

Timmy is a sweet middle brother in our T litter. He enjoys lazing around with his brother Taz and sisters Tara and Tess. He's a pretty well rounded guy, but definitely prefers the quiet compared to his rowdy sister Tara. Timmy loves to watch the fish tank in the rescue, and we lovingly refer to it as Cat TV. He is used to dogs and kids, but knows he can hide away from them if they're too loud of busy for his liking.

Taz

4 month old Neutered Male
Gray and White Short Hair

Taz is the handsome big brother of our T litter. He is charming, easy going, and chill with every cat or dog he meets. He's pretty polite about asking for attention, and can often be found cuddling with his siblings, or even playing with the extra young puppies in the rescue!

Tess

4 month old Spayed Female
Black Short Hair

Tess is the shiest of our T litter. She enjoys spending time with her sister Tara, and brothers Taz and Timmy. She especially likes to follow around social butterfly Tara, and the two wrassle on the floor often.Tess is ok with calm dogs, but would prefer a home without rowdy children. Shes a quiet, shy soul who would do best in a low energy environment. She's actually afraid of the camera 😅

Tara

4 month old Spayed Female
Black Short Hair

Adoption Pending!

Sweet, playful Tara is everything you could be looking for in a mini house panther! She entered rescue with her sister after being found out fending for themselves. Tara is already spayed, but will need 2 more vaccinations, so her adoption will technically be foster-to-adopt for the next month. She is easy to get along with, and would love other kitty friends to play with in her new home.

Mildred

4 month old Spayed Female
Black Salty Liquorice

Mildred is a pretty unique little girl! She has what is called a salty liquorice coat, which means it is black with white flecks throughout, which will likely become more prominant as she matures. Right now, she just looks like her coat is made of stars ✨ This pretty little lady took part in the Pawsitively Fall costume contest, and won the cat category in her bee costume 🥰 She is playful, sweet, and enjoys the company of her friend Tara!

Scottie

4 month old Neutered Male
Black Short Hair

Scottie, Kirk and Spock were all dumped on a property here in Guthrie. They like to hang out with each other, even though they're clearly from 3 different litters. Scottie is easy going, and likes to play with string toys. He's great with the dogs at the rescue, and likes children too!

Chaste

5 month old Spayed Female
Orange and White Short Hair

In Foster Care

Chaste is a playful, sweet little girl who loves to be carried and kissed on her head. She enjoys her treats and playing with other kitten friends, but always slows down and comes for a cuddle once she's done. Chaste is pretty outgoing, and quick to make friends. She'd love another kitty at home to play and snuggle with.

Jane

6 month old Spayed Female
Brown Tabby Short Hair

Jane is the biggest sister in her litter, and can be a little shy at first. Once she knows she's safe, she warms up fast and wants to you pat her botty as often as you'll tolerate. She's a very silly kitten who likes feline company in the rescue. She's often found hanging out with Lin or any of the adult cats. She has been ok with the dogs in the rescue, and we suspect she would be totally fine with polite children as well.

Billy

6 month old Spayed Female
Brown Tabby Short Hair

Billy is a petite little girl and the smallest of her litter. Both her sisters Parrot and Jane are bigger than her, but what she lacks in size, she makes up for in charm. This little princess loves to cuddle and get some chin rubs. She enjoys hunting leaves, and hanging out with Daisy, a resident pitbull at the rescue 🥰 We suspect Billy will be good with everyone, even young children! She would love some feline or canine housemates in her forever home.

Lin

6 month old Neutered Male
Black Short Hair

Cuddling may just be this boy's favorite activity! Lin is super outgoing and affectionate, ready to snuggle every chance he gets! While he is still getting used to the dogs in the rescue, Lin made fast friends with all the other cats in our Cat Family Room.We would love to see Lin go home with another kitty, or to a house that already has another cat. He's great with children and would enjoy having a kid to love on in his life too.

Mabel

Only Adoptable with Dipper

6 month old Spayed Female
Medium Hair Gray and White

Mabel has the SOFTEST fur you've ever felt! This pretty princess loves her booty paps, stealing your pillow at night, and wrassling her pudgy, needy brother Dipper. Mabel had an ulcer in her right eye, but it has now healed wonderfully, and she has no lasting damage! 🥳 She gets along well with all other kitties, gentle children, and polite dogs.

Dipper

Only Adoptable with Mabel

Grain Free Diet Only!

6 month old Neutered Male
Short Hair Snowshoe Siamese

Dipper is a big charmer, and bigger snuggle bug. He's also the worlds biggest cry baby 😅 If he can't see his sister Mabel, you WILL hear about it! Super vocal, and super affectionate, this goofball looks like he's always smiling. He's been doing great on harness training, and would be happy to live with any other animals so long as his sister Mabel is at his side. Kids, cats, dogs- he loves everyone.

Johnny

8 month old Neutered Male
Brown Banded Tabby Short Hair

Shy at first, but total charmer once he warms up. Johnny is one of several kittens who came from an overpopulated rural shelter. He gets along well with Schmitty, and loves the cat wheel at the rescue! After a couple days here, he acted like he'd already lived with us, so we think a new family should expect him to take a few days to really settle in. Johnny is great with others cats, but takes a few days to get used to new kids or dogs.

Schmitty

8 month old Neutered Male
Brown Tabby Short Hair

Schmitty is one of multiple teen kittens who came from the same shelter that was overpopulated.
Snuggles and cheek rubs are this handsome boy's favorite things. He's very friendly and affectionate, but easy going in comparison to his super playful sisters. A low-key cuddle buddy, for sure.

Captain Kirk

8 month old Neutered Male
Brown Tabby and White Short Hair

Captian Kirk and his friends Spock & Scottie were dumped on a rural property here in Guthrie. Kirk is very friendly and chatty. He loves to play with his Star Trek buddies, and any other cat who is willing to run and wrassle. Kirk is outgoing and friendly, a total sweetheart who's good with kids, cats and dogs!

Spock

11 month old Neutered Male
Gray Russian Blue Mix

This handsome gray boy has a special paw with an interesting birth defect. He has special toes! 🖖 😂 Spock and his friends Captain Kirk & Scottie were dumped on a property in Guthrie. Spock is a real lovebug and total charmer, ready to snuggle at a moments notice. He's great with kids, dogs, and all other cats! He would love to go home with any of his buddies.

Jayden

11 month old Spayed Female
Black Short Hair

Would be happy to go home with Jordan.

Jayden & Jordan are twin sisters and best friends. They're just as snuggly as they are silly 💕These girls are sweet, sassy and playful. Jayden is the bigger, more mischievious of the twins. She loves to run and jump, so feather on string or fishing rod toys are her fave!

Jordan

11 month old Spayed Female
Black Short Hair

Would be happy to go home with Jayden!

Jayden & Jordan are twin sisters and best friends. They're just as snuggly as they are silly 💕These girls are sweet, sassy and playful. Jordan is the smaller, more snuggly of the twins. She's a little more lowkey, but if her sister is playing, she's just two steps behind her!

Klara

11 month old Spayed Female
Shorthair Ticked Tabby

Klara is everyone's best friend, and has enver met a stranger. This charming girl has the same eye condition her mother has, but it is more severe and she is only able to see out of one eye. That doesn't slow her down any, but she does have forever-sniffles as a result of poor drainage in that special eye.
This purr-fect girl is so friendly, she even likes to cuddle the dogs in the rescue! 😍 She'd love animal friends in her adoptive home, and is great with children!

Mimi

1 year old Spayed Female
Gray Short Hair

Mimi came to the rescue as a young, feral mom. She has learned to trust humans who feed her, and will allow a couple pets before darting off. She'd be ok as a barn cat, but she does seem to really enjoy indoors- especially the cat trees. She'd make a great pet for someone who just wants to exist in the same space as a kitty, and maybe not expect many cuddles out of the relationship.

Sweet Girl

1 year old Spayed Female
Gray Short Hair

Mostly Blind!

Sweet Girl is only 1 year old, but clearly had a very hard life outdoors. The world has been painful and very scary, so she was very slow to settle in at the rescue. She currently lives in our Shy Cat room, and has made friends with Goldy and Mister, two other very shy kitties.Due to her limited sight, Sweet Girl will need a very patient adoptive family, and humans who understand that changing furnature around on a blind girl makes life extra tricky 😂 She would prefer no rowdy dogs or rough children in her home, but gentle and polite ones may be ok with slow introductions.

Bean

1.5 year old Neutered Male
Short Hair Tabby and White

Bean is quite literally bean shaped. He's a soft, chonky boy who loves to lay around in his cat tree all day. He can be playful, but he'd much rather doze the day away 😆 This handsome, round boy gets along with kids, cats and dogs just fine! Easy going, and slow going, he's the perfect cuddlebug lap cat for any family. Have you got some space on your couch for this magestic little lump?

Julianna

1.5 year old Spayed Female
Gray Shorthair Tabby

This pretty lady gets affectioantely called 'Grandma', but she really isn't very old! She is not a fan of dogs or rowdy people/kids, but LOVES other cats, especially kittens 🥰 She would love to go to a home with a young cat she can take care of! Just a very caring, nurturing kitty who wants to curl up with feline company (or human, once and a while!).

Googley Eyes

2 year old Spayed Female
Brown Tabby Short Hair

This sweet, easy going lady has eyes so crossed, one is pointed all the way in 😂 She might not be looking at you, but she IS paying attention! Googley Eyes is friendly, affectionate, and very gentle. She enjoys playing with other cats, especially Jack, a special young male kitty in the rescue.Googley Eyes is Klara's mom, but is happy to just be around other cats- her daughter, or anyone else. She's also pretty used to dogs and children.

Elm

2 year old Spayed Female
Shorthair Dilute Tortie

Elm entered rescue with her two daughters, and their combined litters of kittens. This sweet, lovey lady has done her time raising children, and would love to be a spoiled princess with access to all the sunbeams she could ever want 😌👑💅 She is ok with other cats and polite dogs, and so long as children don't chase or gab, she'll tolerate them too.

Kim

2 year old Spayed Female
Dark Calico Short Hair

Kim was part of the 17 cats that recently came in to the rescue from an urgent situation. This sassy, playful girl is ok with other easy going cats and polite dogs, but is very clear about when she's had enough hassling 😂 In true calico fashion, she thinks she's the queen of the house! She's a bit bossy and demanding, so you better be ready to prove her a lap to sit in!

Paul

2 year old Neutered Male
Gray Mediumhair

Abandoned in a carrier out front a church alongside his brother, Paul is new to the rescue but has adapted very quickly. This handsome guy loves to watch the chaos of rescue from a high perch, surverying his kingdom alongside his best friend and brother, John. The two saints would love to go home together to a quieter environment where they wont be chased by children, and will be offered a couch to cuddle and snooze on.

John

2 year old Neutered Male
Black Medium Hair

Abandoned in a carrier out front a church alongside his brother, John is new to the rescue but has adapted very quickly. This gentle boy likes to supervise the rescue from his tall perch alongside his bestfriend and brother, Paul. The two saints would love to go home together to a quieter environment where they wont be chased by children, and will be offered a couch to cuddle and snooze on.

Spencer

2 year old Neutered Male
Short Hair Tuxedo

This cute, adventurous boy likes to hang out with kids, cats and dogs! Friendly, affectionate, and pretty easy going. He is very easy for other animals to get along with, and is happy to just do whatever the crowd is doing!
You can tell Spencer apart from Conan based on Spencers longer white socks on his back legs.

Conan

2 year old Neutered Male
Short Hair Tuxedo

While shy at first, Conan only takes a moment to warm up to you before asking for a headbump. This handsome boy really enjoys the company of dogs, and follows some of the rescue pups around, rubbing up on their legs. He gets along with other cats, and is ok with kids who don't chase or scream at him. He DOES tend to enjoy his time in outdoor adventures, and would love a catio or stroller in his adoptive home!

Marilyn

2 year old Spayed Female
Gray Tabby Short Hair

Marilyn is a low energy girl who loves to nap on cat trees and in sun beams. She is super easy going, and adjusts to new spaces quickly. She is ok with kids, cats and dogs, but would like all of those things to be polite and give her a bit of space once and a while. She is very affectionate in quieter environments, and will likely be a kitty who crawls in bed with her new family each night 💖

Spooky

2 year old Spayed Female
Black Short Hair

Spooky came to rescue as a nursing momma. Her kittens have long since been adopted, and for a while she wanted to live life as a barn cat. More recently she has decided inside isn't so bad, and cuddles are pretty awesome. A catio or supervised time outdoors would be perfect in her new home. She loves napping in cat trees, but nothing can replace a good roll in the dirt, in her opinion😅 Spooky is good with kids, cats and dogs, and has been vaccinated for FeLV as a precaution, since she loves outdoors so much.

Maxine

3 year old Spayed Female
Short Hair Tabby

Maxine came to rescue along with her adult daughter, who is still learning to trust humans. Maxine is a chatty lovebug who will greet you at the door, asking for cheek rubs and pets on her head.Polite children and other pets are ok, but Maxine has a sore spot on her back near her tail that she does not like to have touched. Good cat manners are appreciated!

Sally

3 year old Spayed Female
Dilute Gray Torbie

Sally was part of the 17 cats that came in to the rescue from an urgent situation. This sweet girl likes other cats and warm sun beams, but would prefer to be away from any rowdy dogs in her new home. She is a pretty independant cat, who enjoys the occassional cuddle with her low-energy, low volume humans. Her eye is about as healed as it will ever get.

TJ

4 year old Neutered Male
Russian Blue Mix

This handsome gentleman was one of the 17 cats that recently entered rescue from an urgent situation.TJ tends to be a bit of a bully to other cats who don't give him lots of space, and may be best as the only kitty in his household. He is ok with polite dogs if given proper time to get used to them, and is a little more patient with female cats. TJ is affectionate and loving to humans, and would be fine with children.

Handsome Henry

5 year old Neutered Male
Short Hair Brown Tabby

This boy is as chill as they come, and would love to hang out with you! He loves chin scratches, cheek rubs, and a good ol' fashion sun beam to laze in.Handsome is ok with other polite pets, so long as they don't force touch upon him- he likes to go at his own pace. Kids are ok so long as they respect boundaries.

Jaime

6 year old Spayed Female
Short Hair Torbie

Jaime is a fairly low energy kitty who likes her cozy hidey holes and naps in the afternoons. She's a little slower to warm up to new folks, and prefers to come to you, rather than being approached for cuddles. You've just gotta work to win her favor 💖 Jaime likes to spend time with other cats who respect personal space, but loud children and excitable dogs really aren't her style.

Animals in Foster Care

All puppies and kittens must receive appropriate vaccines and boosters prior to adoption.
It is law in Oklahoma that ALL cats and dogs adopted out by rescues must be spayed or neutered, and be vaccinated against rabies. These things take time (and money!), so while you are encouranged to enquire about any of the pictured animals in foster care, please be aware it may be several weeks before they are ready to be adopted and come home with you.

Crookshanks

1.5 year old Spayed Female

This grumpy girl raised her kittens in the rescue, but would really rather not deal with humans touching her. Unfortuantely, that makes it very difficult to medicate her injured eye. It's taking time to earn her trust.

Jack

1 year old Neutered Male
Black Shorthair

Jack has had ongoing eye problems for a while now. After 4 months of treatment, the eye is looking much better. Jack is exceptionally lovey and friendly. He likes to play with kids, cats and dogs! He will need daily eyedrops likely longterm.

Mars

3 month old Neutered Male
Sealpoint Siamese

Adoptable Dec 21st

Mars and Reese are incredibly bonded, and total trouble makers together. They're also HUGE cuddlers, and love to give kisses. If you're looking to have your personal space invaded constantly, these boys might be for you.Mars is the more quietly devious of the pair. He will slip out doors between your legs, dive on you from above, and nibble your toes in bed.

Reese

3 month old Neutered Male
Snowshoe Siamese

Adoptable Dec 21st

Mars and Reese are incredibly bonded, and total trouble makers together. They're also HUGE cuddlers, and love to give kisses. Snickers

3 month old Male
Gray and White Tabby

Snickers is a bit of a special case! One of his brothers unfortunately nursed on his bottom parts when their mother was killed. This did damage to him, and he needed reconstructive surgery. He pees a little differently, thats all! However, while in for that surgery, the vet reported she could not find any testicles... so we are waiting until they show up to send him for neuter 😅

Kira

3 month old Female
Short Hair Tortie

Adoption Pending!

This itty bitty trouble maker is a big purr machine, and tiny monster. She's super playful one minute, then sugar sweet the next.Since Kira is extra tiny, it's taking longer for her to reach Spay Weight.

Goldy

3 year old Spayed Female
Shorthair Silver Torbie

This pretty girl isn't so sure she'd like strangers to cuddle her just yet. She warms up slow, and with a quiet environment. Strangers are new and scary, but once she trusts a person, she'll allow some gentle pets and company. We are hoping she'll learn that strangers aren't so bad with time and lots of treats 🍪🍰 Goldy would LOVE another cat in her home who is much braver and bolder. She needs a feline friend to help boost her confidence.

Meatloaf

5 year old Spayed female
Short Hair Brown Tabby

Big Girls give the best snuggles, and boy could this sweetheart use a hug. Meatload is 18bs of shy softie 🥺 She is very scared about any change in scenery, but accepting pets eagerly none the less. Especially if you bring an offering of canned food. 💝 Meatloaf is the kind of cat who will take a few weeks to settle in, but then be the worlds biggest lap cat. She enjoys cats and dogs, but rowdy kids might be a little scary for her.

Faith, Hansel & Gretel

3 year old American Bulldog mix, and her 8wk old puppies.

Heartbreaking doesn't even begin to describe this family upon intake. Skin and bones, and with Momma Faith HW+, plus coccidia, hookwarms and even having ehrlichia 😭 Life has not been kind to these dogs. Faith will begin HW treatment once she is well and has good weight on her. Her beautiful babies have gotten their first vaccines, but have a ways to go before they are ready for spay & neuter.

Rascal

10mo Neutered Male
Shepherd mix

Rascal entered the rescue emacied and struggling. He was sick, and his body did not have the energy to fight 💔 After 2 weeks in the hospital, Rascal has been cleared to come home and heal, but it is taking time. He would benifit from a calm, dedicated foster home.

Thank you for caring for an animal. If you have found a stray within city limits, please contact the local animal control. It is generally accepted that a stray animal should serve a 72h stray hold before being given away. You can have any animal scanned for a microchip at your local vet clinic or Petsmart store.
